Additionally, the housing is made from 304 stainless steel or 316L which has higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. Enclosures are designed to protect a camera and lens from environmental conditions including hazardous atmospheres, weather and vandalism. Further, Veilux has a variety of enclosures including indoor, outdoor, explosion proof, dust-tight and high security models.
